This site has been created to offer support and information to parents of children suffering some form of mental illness. As a parent, I have noticed that there really isn't much regarding parent advocacy available. This is really unfortunate. Many parents are faced with decisions concerning treatment and placement yet they remain uninformed. I made a mistake and let them take my child at the young age of 4. Don't make the same mistake I did. Explore your options. This is what I hope to provide.

Please check out the pages on this site. You will find information that can help and maybe some ideas you never even thought of. Don't rely on the system to tell you these things. I know from experience (atleast in California), they won't.
